Hey! got my laptop working, again! found my recovery discs after 8 months of looking. thanks for all the help with the problems, i ended up just wiping the drive and going back to “out of the box”.

Hey Preston,

It’s Ian from Dakota (the guy who you helped to pick out a laptop). I used that disc you gave me to run Ubuntu off the disc. I didn’t install it, as you told me not to until you could oversee the installation. Well anyways, when I was running it, there was no sound. I shut down after checking out the cool features, and removed the CD. Well, the sound works fine when I run windows, BUT ever since running the CD, my screen will occasionally go blank and will not turn back on until I hold the power button down and restart the laptop. Idk if this is a commmon problem, but it drives me crazy as it happens a few times a week. When is a good time for me to come to dakota and have you take a look at it?

This is typical of Veriqik. They have an over-active IT guy named Toby who blocks whatever he feels like people shouldnt be accessing. They are not a neutral ISP delivering internet service, they give you whatever they feel like you should have.
